RACHEL MANLUBATAN

is a multi-medium artist with a primary focus on graphic design, illustration, and video production.

From Round Lake, Illinois, Rachel is currently in her second year at Columbia College Chicago, pursuing a BA in graphic design with a minor in video production. She works with the Department of Exhibitions, Performance, and Student Spaces and with the Dianne Dammeyer Initiative at Columbia, and collaborates with various artists on outside projects such as the Limelight and Sweet Hudson.

By combining her design, fine art, filming, and editing skills, Rachel curates a bold and colorful palette that often provides commentary on her experience as an Asian-American or highlights her perspective on her past relationships. Rachel typically works on poster design, publication design, and social media marketing, and hopes to take her artwork into the music or film industry after college.
